Getting invited as a shareholder to an IR Asset
When a company uses the Findex IR Portal to manage its investor relations, it can invite you directly as a shareholder. This means you don't need to add the investment yourself — it shows up in your portfolio automatically once you accept the invitation.

How the Invitation Works
A company admin adds your email address to their shareholder list in the Findex IR Portal.
You receive an email invitation letting you know the company has invited you as a shareholder.
If you already have a Findex account, the invitation will also appear in your Settings > My IR Invites section.
If you don't have a Findex account yet, the email will include a link to sign up first.

Accepting an Invitation
Click Settings in the sidebar.
Select My IR Invites.
You'll see a list of any pending invitations from companies that have added you as a shareholder.
Review the details — including the company name and your share allocation.
Click Accept to add the IR asset to your portfolio.
Once accepted, the asset will appear in your Portfolio > Investments list and will be included in your portfolio value and net worth calculations.

What Happens After You Accept
The investment appears in your Investments list, marked as an IR asset.
The company manages the valuation and share count — you don't need to update these yourself.
Any changes the company makes to your shares or valuation will be reflected automatically in your portfolio.
The asset contributes to your net worth, diversification, and ROI calculations just like any other investment.

Declining or Ignoring an Invitation
If you don't want to accept an invitation, you can simply ignore it. Pending invitations will remain in your My IR Invites section until you take action. Declining an invitation does not notify the company.
Tips
Check your email — Invitations are sent to the email address the company has on file. Make sure your Findex account uses the same email.
You can't edit IR asset values — Since the company manages these details, the valuation fields are read-only on your end.
Multiple invitations — You can accept invitations from as many companies as you like. Each one will appear as a separate IR asset in your portfolio.
