Security & Password
Your account security matters. The Security & Password settings in Findex let you manage your password and review your authentication method to keep your account protected.

Overview
The Security & Password section is found under Settings > Account Settings. Here you can change your password and review how you sign in to Findex. If you use BankID for authentication, your password is managed through your BankID provider and cannot be changed within Findex.
Changing Your Password
If you created your Findex account with an email and password (not BankID), you can update your password at any time:
Go to Settings from the main menu.
Select Security & Password under Account Settings.
Click Change Password.
Enter your current password.
Enter and confirm your new password.
Click Save to apply the change.

BankID Users
If you signed up or log in using BankID, your authentication is handled entirely through the BankID service. This means:
The password change option is disabled in your Findex settings.
Your login credentials are managed by your BankID provider.
You do not need to set or remember a separate Findex password.

Two-Factor Authentication (Coming Soon)
Findex is working on adding two-factor authentication (2FA) as an additional layer of security for your account. Once available, you will be able to enable 2FA from this settings page. Stay tuned for updates.
Tips
Use a strong password. Choose a password that is at least 12 characters long and includes a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Do not reuse passwords. Your Findex password should be unique and not used on other platforms.
BankID is already secure. If you use BankID, you benefit from strong, bank-level authentication out of the box.
