What is Midas AI and How to Get Started

Midas AI is your AI-powered financial co-pilot built right into Findex. It helps you understand, manage, and explore your investment portfolio through natural conversation. Think of it as a knowledgeable assistant that knows your portfolio inside and out.

What Is Midas AI?

Midas AI is an intelligent assistant that lives inside your Findex dashboard. It can analyze your portfolio, surface relevant insights, answer financial questions, and even help you manage your investments through simple chat-based requests. Midas is currently in Beta, which means the team is actively improving it based on your feedback.

How to Access Midas AI

  1. Log in to your Findex account and navigate to your Dashboard.

  2. Look for the Midas AI button in the top navigation bar.

  3. Click the Midas AI button to open the chat panel.

Note: The Midas AI button appears on all pages except the Investor Relations portal.

Accepting the Terms of Use

The first time you open Midas AI, you will be asked to review and accept the Terms and Conditions before you can start chatting.

  1. Click the Midas AI button in the navigation bar.

  2. A full-screen modal will appear with an overview of what Midas can do and the Terms & Conditions.

  3. Scroll through the terms to read the full agreement. You must scroll to the bottom before you can proceed.

  4. Once you have read everything, click the Activate Midas AI button to accept.

  5. A confirmation toast will appear saying "You can now use Midas AI."

You only need to accept the terms once. After that, clicking the Midas AI button will open the chat panel directly.

The Midas AI Chat Panel

Once activated, Midas opens as a side panel with a friendly greeting: "Hello, how can I help you today?" You will also see suggested prompts to help you get started, such as:

  • Analyze my portfolio

  • Summarize relevant news

  • Add assets for me

Type a message in the text field at the bottom or click any suggestion to begin your conversation.

Tips

  • You can resize or reposition the Midas chat panel using the controls in the top-right corner of the panel.

  • Midas is a Beta feature. If you encounter issues or have ideas, use the Send Feedback link to let the team know.

  • Midas does not provide financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making investment decisions.
