Understanding Investment Opportunities
Investment Opportunities are a category within Capital Opportunities focused on equity and fund-based instruments. These are offerings where you invest capital in exchange for ownership or a stake in a company or fund, with returns driven by the performance of the underlying business or portfolio.
Common types of investment opportunities you may find on Findex include:
Unlisted Equity -- Shares in private companies that are not traded on a public exchange
Private Placements -- Direct offerings from companies raising capital from a select group of investors
Fund Offerings -- Pooled investment vehicles that invest across a diversified portfolio of assets
Pre-IPO Investments -- Opportunities to invest in companies before they go public

Tips
Do your research. Unlisted and private investments carry different risks than public markets. Review all available documentation before expressing interest.
Diversification. Adding private equity or fund-based investments to your portfolio can complement your public market holdings.
No obligation. Clicking Express Interest is not a commitment to invest. It simply lets the issuer know you are interested.
