How to Preview & Test Investor Update

Sending an update to all your shareholders is a big moment -- you want to make sure it looks just right. Findex lets you preview your content and send a test delivery before going live. This guide walks you through both features so you can ship updates with confidence.

Overview

The Preview & Test features give you two ways to check your Investor Update before it reaches shareholders. Preview lets you see exactly how the formatted content will appear. Test delivery sends the update to your own inbox so you can verify everything end to end, including subject line, formatting, and links.

How to Preview Your Update

  1. Navigate to IR Portal > Investor Updates and open an update you are working on (or create a new one).

  2. Write or edit your content in the markdown editor.

  3. Click the Preview button to switch to the rendered view.

  4. Review how your text, headings, links, and formatting appear in the final layout.

  5. Click Edit to return to the editor and make any changes.

How to Send a Test Delivery

  1. With your update open in the editor, click the Test button (often labeled Send Test or Test Delivery).

  2. The update will be delivered to your own email address associated with your Findex account.

  3. Open your inbox and review the test email. Check the following:

    • Subject line displays correctly.

    • Markdown formatting renders as expected.

    • Any links work and point to the right destinations.

  4. Return to Findex and make edits if needed. You can send as many test deliveries as you like before publishing.

Tips

  • Always send at least one test delivery before sending to shareholders. It only takes a moment and catches formatting issues that are easy to miss in the editor.

  • If your update includes links, click each one in the test email to verify they open correctly.

  • Preview and test as many times as you need -- there is no limit, and your shareholders will not see any test deliveries.
