Asset Page

The Asset Page is the detail view for any individual investment in your portfolio. It gives you a complete picture of that asset — from valuation and performance to documents and communications.

Accessing an Asset Page

  1. Go to Portfolio > Investments.

  2. Click on any asset in the list.

The asset's detail page will open.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab shows the key information about your investment:

  • Asset Name and Type — The name, logo, and asset class.

  • Current Value — The latest valuation in your preferred currency.

  • Quantity — How many units or shares you hold.

  • Invested Amount — The total amount you originally invested.

  • Return Value — The gain or loss (current value minus invested amount).

  • ROI — Your return on investment as a percentage.

  • Price History Graph — A chart showing how the asset's value has changed over time.

Ownership Tab

If the asset is connected to Findex's Investor Relations Portal, you'll see an Ownership tab with:

  • Cap table — The full list of shareholders and their ownership percentages.

  • Your shares — Your specific holding and percentage.

  • Investor updates — Communications sent by the company.

Note: This tab only appears for IR-connected assets.

Documents Tab

The Documents tab lets you manage files related to this specific asset:

  • Upload shareholder agreements, term sheets, or valuation reports.

  • Download or preview existing documents.

  • Organize files in folders.

Communications Tab

For IR-connected assets, the Communications tab shows:

  • Investor updates sent by the company.

  • Announcements and messages.

  • Historical communications with timestamps.

  • The ability to view and respond to threads.

Editing from the Asset Page

You can edit the asset's details directly from its detail page:

  1. Click the Edit button.

  2. Update any fields (name, quantity, invested amount, current value).

  3. Click Save.


Tips

  • Use the price history graph to understand how your investment has performed over time.

  • Upload key documents to the asset — this keeps everything organized and easy to find when you need it.

  • Check the ownership tab for IR assets to stay up to date on cap table changes and investor communications.
