Mobile Responsiveness

Findex is a responsive web app designed to work in your mobile browser -- no app download needed. While most features work great on your phone or tablet, there are a few things to keep in mind for the best mobile experience.

How to Access Findex on Mobile

  1. Open your mobile browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, or any supported browser).

  2. Navigate to the Findex website.

  3. Log in with your email and password, or use BankID.

  4. You're in -- Findex automatically adjusts its layout to fit your screen.

What Works on Mobile

Most of the core Findex experience is fully available on your phone:

  • Dashboard -- View your portfolio overview, total value, and performance charts.

  • Portfolio > Assets & Liabilities -- Browse and review your holdings.

  • News -- Read your personalized newsfeed.

  • Documents -- Access and view your uploaded documents.

  • Opportunities -- Explore available investment opportunities.

  • Settings -- Manage your profile, security, and provider connections.

Desktop-Only Features

A small number of features are optimized for larger screens and are currently only available on desktop:

  • IR Information configuration -- Setting up and managing Investor Relations company details is best done on a desktop browser for the full editing experience.

We're continually improving the mobile experience, so more features will become fully mobile-friendly over time.

Troubleshooting Mobile Display Issues

If Findex doesn't look right on your phone:

  1. Rotate your device. Some pages display better in landscape mode.

  2. Update your mobile browser. Make sure you're running the latest version of Safari, Chrome, or your preferred browser.

  3. Clear your mobile browser cache. Tap your browser's settings and clear cached data.

  4. Avoid browser "reader" modes. Reading modes strip out the interactive elements Findex relies on.

  5. Check your zoom level. Pinch-to-zoom can sometimes cause layout shifts. Double-tap to reset the zoom.

Tips

  • Add Findex to your home screen. On most mobile browsers, you can tap "Add to Home Screen" for quick access without opening the browser first.

  • Use a stable connection. Mobile data can be spotty -- Wi-Fi generally gives a smoother experience, especially when syncing provider data.

  • Portrait for browsing, landscape for charts. Performance charts and graphs are easier to read when you turn your phone sideways.
