Findex is designed to be easy to navigate. This guide walks you through the main menu and how to find your way around the app.

Sidebar Navigation

The sidebar on the left side of the screen is your main navigation. It gives you quick access to every section of Findex:

Portfolio

  • Investments — View all your assets in one place. Browse, search, filter, and click into any asset for a detailed view.

  • Liabilities — See all your debts, loans, and mortgages. Track remaining balances, interest rates, and maturity dates.

Opportunities

Browse curated investment opportunities including unlisted equity, real estate, bonds, and alternative investments.

Documents

Your central file hub. Upload, organize, and access important financial documents linked to your assets and liabilities.

Newsfeed

A personalized, AI-powered news feed tailored to the assets in your portfolio. Stay up to date with relevant market news and insights.

Settings

Manage your profile, security, connected providers, invites, and more.

Top Bar

The top bar provides quick access to:

  • Your profile — Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner to access your profile and account settings.

  • Notifications — Stay informed about important updates and activity.

Navigating Between Sections

Switching between sections is simple — just click on the item in the sidebar. The active section is highlighted so you always know where you are.

Within sections like Portfolio, you'll see sub-navigation to switch between Investments and Liabilities.

Investor Relations Mode

If you administer a company through Findex's Investor Relations Portal, you'll see an additional section in the sidebar for managing your company. This includes:

  • Company Profile — Edit company details and branding.

  • IR Information — Control what shareholders can see on the shareholder portal.

  • Cap Table — Manage shareholders and ownership.

  • Invites — View and manage shareholder invitations.

Note: The IR section only appears if you have a company set up in Findex.

Mobile Navigation

On smaller screens, the sidebar collapses into a menu icon (hamburger menu) at the top of the screen. Tap it to open the full navigation.

The mobile experience includes the same sections as desktop, optimized for touch:

  • Full-width layouts for easy reading

  • Dropdown menus for sub-navigation

  • Swipe-friendly interactions

Tips

  • Use the sidebar to jump between sections — It's always visible on desktop, so switching between your portfolio and documents is just one click.

  • Look for the active highlight — The sidebar highlights the current section so you never lose your place.

  • Bookmark your most-used page — If you always start with your investments list, bookmark that page in your browser for quick access.
